BRAZIL: PT corruption network was bigger than imagined

The network of corruption within the ruling Partido dos Trabalhadores (PT) was even bigger than has so far been seen, according to the PT's former secretary-general, Silvio Pereira. He has revealed that the version admitted by the chief bagman, Marcos Valério Fernandes, was only a partial one, chosen tactically as the least harmful. Pereira does not implicate President Lula da Silva, but confirms that most of the top PT leaders were involved.
